
Dr. St. John graduated from Boston College and School of Medicine at State University of New York at Stony Brook. His Orthopaedic residency was at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and he completed his fellowship at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson. He is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has special interest in spine injuries, degenerative spine diseases, and hip and knee replacement and revision joint surgery. Dr. St. John has completed research and published articles and chapters in the orthopaedics literature on topics including spine disease, and hip and knee replacement. Dr. St. John has clinic hours each week inn Aspen, Glenwood and Basalt offices. He has privileges at Aspen Valley Hospital, Valley View Hospital and the Midvalley Ambulatory Surgery Center in Basalt. He is proficient in conversational French. Dr. St. John resides in Basalt and enjoys skiing, running, hiking, golf, and music.
