N. Lindsay Harris, MD

N. Lindsay Harris, MD joined Orthopaedic Associates in 2003. Dr. Harris' education includes an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and doctorate of medicine from Vanderbilt University, followed by an orthopedic residency at University of Colorado and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He most recently served as Associate Professor in the orthopedics department at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, devoting time to patient care, research and teaching. He also served as team physician to the University of Colorado Buffaloes and University of Denver Pioneers. He brings nearly a decade of  experience in working with collegiate athletics, involving 26 teams in 11 different sports as varied as football, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, track & field, skiing, golf and tennis. He specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.

Dr. Harris is the director of the AFSMER fellowship program and oversees the specialty training and curriculum for the sports medicine fellowship program in Aspen.

Research
Dr. Harris' current research includes; platelet gel study on chronic soft tissue injury healing; long term comparison of various ACL graft sources and a project researching ski related tibial plateau fractures.
