Total Knee Replacement is the best treatment for patients with arthritic knees where the majority of the cartilage has broken down resulting in pain, swelling, stiffness, deformity, and functional limitation. This is the best option after all non-operative treatments have failed. Tomas Pevny, MD, is trained to use pre-operative CAT Scan or MRI Imagining allowing for the selection of patient specific instruments during surgery. This allows for a more efficient and precise operation based on each patients anatomy; allowing for less blood loss, quicker rehabilitation, and better functional outcomes.
